What are the 3 Most Important Words in Cross Country?
Come to conditioning practice to find out the answer! We had a great start with over 20 athletes showing up each day. Invite a friend and let's keep the momentum going!

Summer Conditioning: June 24-July 31 8:30-10am

Summer conditioning is a "fourth season" that is free to participate in but students must register through Final Forms in order to be eligible to attend. Please ensure that all forms are signed by parents and students and the sports physical is up to date before attending practices.
Schedule:
Tuesdays at Arrowhead ES
Wednesdays at IHS Weight Room (entrance is on the back side of the school near the concert hall)
Thursdays: Option 1 Arrowhead ES or Option 2 Adventure Trail Run (offsite location)

Adventure Trail Runs: Interested in running in the woods on swooping trails, challenging hills, amazing views and a chance to meet new people? These Thursday optional runs are sponsored by the Youth Trail Project. It is free to attend but you need to sign up separately for these events and it requires a liability release form signed by students and parent/guardian. Details are HERE. You can also find the links on the About: Coaches page. Practice at Arrowhead ES will still meet for everyone else.

Cross Country Summer Conditioning is open to all athletes regardless of the sport(s) they plan to participate in. It does not affect your eligibility or place on the team whether you show up for one practice, all of them or none at all.

Cross Country General Information for Practices During the School Fall Season

If parking inside the park a Discover Pass is required to avoid a ticket. You can purchase passes at the kiosk within the park ($10/day) or ($30/yr) online HERE. We meet at the picnic tables along the cricket field on your left as you enter the park. Drop off is ok and carpooling is encouraged.

Things to remember for practice:

XC Quick FAQ

How often is practice? Once school begins practices will be M-F after school 3:45pm-5:45pm. Practice shortens to 90min early to mid October. Wednesday (early release) practices begin at 2:15pm.
Where are practices held? We have 3 locations: St Edward State Pk (Discovery Pass required if parking), Bothell Landing and Inglemoor HS.
How do we get to practice locations off campus? Parents can make any type of arrangement to get their athletes to and from practice.
What do we need for practice? Come dressed to run. Dress appropriately for the weather. Bring a water bottle and small snack (optional). A small pack or bookbag large enough for their clothes and running shoes. Pack a good attitude because we run in all types of weather, even when it's sunny!
What kind of running shoes do I need/Do I need cross country spikes? We recommend visiting a running shoe store to try on shoes you will be running in, visit the coaches page for recommendations. We will also be scheduling a shoe night at Super Jock'nJill in Redmond sometime in the first two weeks of practice where our team will get personal attention and discounts on purchases. Spikes will only be recommended for certain athletes. No need to purchase unless recommended by the coaches.

'25 Dates and Fall Meet Schedule will be posted beginning in late spring.
